  • Provides individual, family, and group consultation to adoptees and their families

  • Leads adoption-conscious education for adoptive parents

  • Designs course curricula focusing on intersections of adoption, racial equity, and identity development

  • Develops evaluation tools and analysis to examine organizational impact

SHADES OF BELONGING
Principal Investigator

  • Designed, implemented, and secured funding for a mixed methods study of 115 Jewish adoptees of color

  • Developed and led a community event for 200 attendees, to share research findings and celebrate the Jewish adoptee community

  • Recruited 12 organizational co-sponsors to support the community event

  • Produced a Research Highlights & Summary white paper to share key study findings

  • Conducted in-depth interviews and focus groups with organizational board members

  • Designed and implemented a survey to examine organizational inclusion and capacity

  • Developed and implemented a survey and focus groups to examine community belonging 

  • Analyzed data from 500+ survey and 24 focus group participants
